The State of Michigan selected WTA Architects and Redstone Architects- Law Enforcement Consultant, in early 2010 to design a new post to replace a 1938 facility for the Bay City area.
The site plan consisted of two new service drives, security berms and landscaping, and space behind the building for a future gun range. Building programming included programs, such as office and conference spaces, temporary holding cells, and a two-car sally port and garage.
The project was completed in November 2012. The finished design was to be a prototype for future posts.
