Redstone Architects, Public Safety Architects was selected to develop a Preliminary Study for a new Justice Center that would house the Lincoln Park Police Department and the 25th District Court. The Study was funded by the State of Michigan.

The 25th District Court serves the Cities of Lincoln Park, Ecorse and River Rouge.  The lock-up for the Lincoln Park Police Department serves as a holding area for the Court.

Three sites have been identified as possible locations for the new Justice Center.
