Project Size: 250,000 sq.ft.

This four-story, 250,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility maintains computer operations and check processing facilities for all Comerica Bank offices.  The entire third floor, over 45,000 square feet, is a raised floor system designed to accommodate the IBM computer servers and other computer equipment.  Massing of the building for energy efficiency, as well as large open interior spaces for growth, were significant design factors.  An interior atrium is open to allow natural light into the center of the building to make this a 'people space' as well as one that is technologically efficient.  The exterior is of steel frame construction clad in both ribbed and smooth texture precast panels and reflective glass.

This project was showcased by the Constructon Association of Michigan at the 1989 CAM Expo as one example of the finest craftsmanship, project management and design in the Michigan Construction Industry.
